Terms of service

If you browse and use our website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following T&Cs.

 

Definitions

"Buyer" means the person placing the order with gathered.store. "Company, we, us, our, I, me " means gathered.store.
"Contract" means the contract for the supply of goods including the conditions.
"Goods" means the goods that gathered.store is to supply in relation to the terms and as detailed on any invoice. 

Payment 

Goods remain the property of gathered.store until the payment has been received in full. Goods will not be delivered or available for collection until the payment has cleared.

Prices

Prices are quoted in British Sterling. Delivery will be charged on top of these prices.

Liability

The company's liability to the buyer will at no time exceed the price of the goods supplied. The company shall be under no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage or expense whether direct or indirectly resulting from the supply of goods.

Guarantee

All of our goods are sold as antique/used/vintage and do not come with any guarantee.  Dings and defects are all part of the charm and character of old pieces and should be expected. We endeavour to describe accurately and honestly each piece and its condition.

Dimensions / Timings / Descriptions

All dimensions and timings provided are estimated and approximated. The company endeavours to provide information about the provenance / age of goods. However, the company can give no guarantee as to the accuracy of this information.

Website

Our website contains material owned or licensed by us. This includes our photographs and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited without our permission.

Electrical goods

Unless otherwise stated all electrical goods are sold as antique and will require rewiring / testing and a certificate by a qualified electrician.

Woodworm / woodboring beetle / common furniture beetle

As all of our furniture has some age to it there may be evidence of old worm. As a rule we re-treat anything that may or may not have worm if there is any evidence. However, it is impossible to be 100 % certain that this treatment is totally effective and gathered.store takes no responsibility for any damaged caused to furniture supplied or to surrounding furniture or building materials. 

Age of Consent

Unless you are 18 or older, you’ll need to get permission to purchase from our site from your parents or guardian.
